Tatiana Johnson, directora de Mercadeo en LatAm de Teads
Tatiana Johnson, Marketing Director at Teads Latin America, defends activities that promote the inclusion of women, which is why she suggests that changes should come from management. “Everything is based on actions and they can be as basic as inviting women to sit at the table with the rest of the decision-makers.” Teads Miami, she explains, is a very open, progressive and united office. “Most Latin American Directors are, in fact, women, despite being a tech company in which women are usually a minority. This proves that there is equality but it is not even across the industry.” She bets on promoting dialogue and collaboration among women. “Statistics prove that women are more competitive between each other than men. Of course, this tendency stretches beyond the professional world, but it is important to create an open dialogue on the topic.” She adds, “the best thing I can suggest to companies, is to conduct workshops in which men and women -according to departments and regions- read the book Lean In, which has anecdotes and studies. It points out the changes we have to do in our workforce and as a society to be able to reach gender equality.”
