The agency Wieden & Kennedy Amsterdam launched Heineken’s first global campaign, starring actor Daniel Craig as James Bond. This is one of the agencies latest works for the brewer, which in the future will work with Publicis Worldwide and different local agencies. The brand -which sponsors the James Bond film franchise since 1997- shows in this spot the famous spy in an operation to escape from his enemies on a motorboat and without realizing it, he drags along a girl who was preparing to water ski. The girl helps Bond and in the process finds some Heineken beer bottles. The spot titled The Chase is one of the installments of an integrated campaign, which will appear briefly in the Bond film Spectre. Heineken will launch 500 million beer bottles with a logo that can be scanned to access exclusive content on the film.”To celebrate our 18 year partnership, our campaign for Spectre is the most innovative we have ever done” said Hans Erik Tuijt, Global Sponsorship Director at Heineken. “The nature of this film franchise allows us to approach our audience in an innovating way that truly adds value and emotion to fans’ experience” he said.
