Era obvio que lo nuestro no iba a funcionar (It was obvious our thing wasn’t going to work out). Under this premise the agency Wing/Grey starts its new campaign Pickupmydonation, which seeks to encourage donations for Hispanic families, and thus motivate people to do something important with all the gifts they don’t want.Favio Ucedo, CCO at Wing/Grey explains that Hispanic families come to the US with the hope of a better future, but arrive with very little money to start their new lives. This is why they go to hand-me-down stores and donation places which help them in this new beginning.”Sometimes people give us things that aren’t for us. Maybe because the person who gave us the present doesn’t know us so well. Or because they gave us the first thing that came to their minds without giving it much thought. The other day I found in a corner of my house a gift I received 4 years ago. Those things or gifts we receive that we don’t appreciate can be very useful for others. With this campaign we want people to become aware of that, to check all the corners in their houses and make the most of those forgotten gifts to make someone else happy”, says Favio Ucedo, CCO at Wing/Grey.The company picks up all sorts of donations, from books to board games, clothes, furniture and almost anything you don’t use.
