Natalia Rudd, executive producer of Whiskey Films Colombia, spoke to PRODU on the participation of the producer in Terriblemente delicioso (Terribly delicious), winner of a silver and a bronze lions at the Cannes Lions Festival.The initiative was developed jointly by Geometry Global Colombia, lead by Juan Jose Posada, Creative VP and John Raul Forero, creative VP of Ogilvy Colombia, for the Ministry of Environment and presidency of Colombia. “The main objective of this action was to raise awareness among Colombians that the lionfish is a threat to the Caribbean, and having no natural predator is proliferating rapidly and eliminating all the reef fish, but in turn, we wanted to let the audience know that the flesh of this species is delicious,” Rudd said.From the roster of directors of Whiskey Films, Agustin Calderon participated, with extensive experience in managing appetite and also an environmentalist; and Gustavo Carvajal, who also directed much of the project. Andres Colantoni also rook part of the team as line producer.”It was wonderful to participate in the project on behalf of the planet, and also help the ecosystem of our shores, and this is an example for other countries in the Caribbean, in order to control a bit the proliferation of lionfish,” she finished. Whiskey Films currently has offices in Panama, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Venezuela, USA, and recently began operations in Ecuador.
