Wendys announced the return of the #PretzelLoveSongs campaign, the brand new version of the music videos celebrating the pretzel breads comeback through consumer love messages.To celebrate the return of Wendys Pretzel Bacon with cheese and the chicken Pretzel Pub, the company is inviting consumers to share their joy to re-encounter with the pretzel bun, through social media with the #PretzelLoveSongs hashtag. Most social media messages will be turned into song lyrics in a series of three music videos. In this video series, the Boyz II Men band will participate to enact the passion and love for the pretzel in the overall market, and Jon Secada will take a serenade to the Latino fans, called Amor, composed of consumer-generated tweets. Both videos will be published over the next few weeks. “This year we are taking Wendys most successful digital campaign to the next level”, said Craig Bahner, Marketing Director at Wendys. We have been connecting all items of our marketing campaign around music and social media, as we take the opportunity to connect with our consumers, and then going on to use their posts to celebrate their love and passion for our pretzel bun,” he added.For Latino fans, the well-known Rojo family will be surprised by Secada on TV advertisements and Latino radios as they listen to music on their car radio.
