Vme Televisión names new agency of record

Balsera Communications has been named the agency of record of Vme Television, a public channel in the United States that airs entirely in Spanish and which first screened in 2007.The agency will handle communication strategies and public relations for the TV channel. Balsera Communications is well-known for successful campaigns targeting the Hispanic market in the United States and has worked with such important clients as the United Health Foundation and the National Museum of the American Latino Commission. Company President David Duckenfield and Managing Partner Freddy Balsera also provided communications aid for the presidential campaigns of Barack Obama in the election years 2008 and 2012.“Over the past ten years the U.S. Hispanic demographic has not only grown in numbers, but it has also become more sophisticated” said Duckenfield. “We believe Vme is uniquely positioned to provide this new, up and coming Hispanic market the unique and educational programming that it is craving while also catering to the bilingual lifestyle that they are now embracing”.“We have never been more aggressive in our endeavors to enhance the value of Hispanics in professions and academia through our programming” said Eligio Cedeño, one of the owners of Vme Media, Inc.Vme TV is currently the fourth-largest Hispanic television network in the United States and reaches more than 75 percent of Latino households in the country. It is the only channel in Spanish whose programming focuses on educational family entertainment.
