Making a name for Hispanic talent and continuing to unite the creative community through different activities are some of the goals the new president of Circulo Creativo USA, Virgilio Flores, has in mind for the 2023-2024 period. “It’s an important responsibility and I’m only too glad to take it on. The expectations are that we’ll keep coming up with interesting activities that unite the creative community while finding new ways for the Circulo to keep expanding,” Flores said. Meetings like the ones held in regional headquarters to explore the creative possibilities of the Super Bowl represent just one of the projects the organization has launched. “Getting Hispanic talent better known is one of the functions we work on. The Super Bowl event is an example of what has to be done, of how to create meeting points, how to create ways to meet, what we can do for the market, what we can each contribute and how the Circulo can keep growing and be much closer to all Hispanic creatives,” he said. Flores, creative director of alma, has a wide experience in the U.S. Hispanic market plus the additional advantage of having headed the Circulo Creativo leadership in Venezuela. “My sons inspire me. The people around one are so important, particularly those that can contribute additional knowledge and experience. I’m greatly inspired by those I work with in the agency and now by the people of the Circulo as well.”
