Víctor Paredes joins WING as Director of Strategy

WING, the Hispanic agency based in New York, announced on Thursday 19th that Víctor Paredes has joined their team as new Director of Strategy. Paredes most recent role was Managing Director at Spike DDB, where he led the Strategic Planning and Client Management functions. He has worked on global brands including Heineken, MasterCard, Target, McDonald’s, Kleenex, Sprint, and General Motors. Previously he spent five years at Omnicom’s LatinWorks, where he developed total market strategies for Target, PepsiCo, Capital One and Marriott, among others. Paredes was born in the U.S. but his family is from Ecuador and his wife is Mexican. His knowledge of the Hispanic market and the relationship he keeps with the U.S. gives him a strategic view key for the development of project in WING.Throughout his career, that began in the music industry and then moved on to multicultural marketing, he has deepened in each organization the reach and perception that they have about Hispanics inside the U.S. as economic engine and great purchasers for brands. Paredes was trained at CUNY’s Herbert Lehman College and he has an MBA from Texas McCombs School of Business.
