La campaña está destinada a promover y a apoyar a los pequeños empresarios hispanos
The empowerment platform for Hispanics in the US, Univision Contigo, launched a campaign designed to help those small entrepreneurs and their families to reach their financial goals. Aside from content on the air and public services to help small business owners, the campaign will have events in 11 cities of the country where there will be forums, financial literacy workshops, prosperity fairs and seminars for small businesses.According to an IHS research, the Hispanic population will make up more than 40% of the growth in the work sector in the US during the next 5 years and more than 75% between 2020 and 2034. Latins are opening more businesses, at almost twice the rate of the rest of American brands, and have grown 43% since 2007. Hispanics tend to open more small businesses than non-Hispanics and their companies contribute around US$500 million to the national economy.”As a company guided by its mission, we are proud to offer Univision’s support and resources and that of its allies to Hispanic entrepreneurs and future entrepreneurs to help consolidate our community’s financial prosperity”, said Roberto Llamas, Human Resources and Community Empowerment executive VP at Univision. This program is part of the social responsibility platform of Univision, which has been interacting for 50 years with the Hispanic community in the US. It has four fundamental action pillars: education, health, prosperity and citizen participation.
