Unilever U.S. celebrates latinas’ culinary creativity with #TuTwist

Unilever U.S. pays a tribute to Hispanic mothers with a new campaign that mixes food with comedy. #TuTwist will debut with the premiere of an original web series that will be broadcast on ViveMejor.com featuring Giselle Blondet. The debut will take place in the context of Hispanicize 2016. “#TuTwist is a digital campaign that feeds off Latinos’ strong cultural relation with food” pointed out Brian Critz, Brand Director of the Multicultural Division of Unilever U.S. “Latina mothers are very confident, they balance the inspiration of their cultural heritage with what they find in the Internet: that is why we are launching this campaign on ViveMejor.com”.The web series, starring Giselle Blondet -host of Telemundo´s Gran hermano- was written by the comedian and star of Alternatino from Comedy Central, Arturo Castro. Giselle and Arturo contribute their unique flavor to the series, channeling with very good humor their experiences in Latina families. Brands like Knorr, Hellmann’s, Lipton, Fruttare, Popsicle and Breyers ice creams take part in the series. “These are the brands I’ve known all my life and I am very excited to partner with them to highlight a story that gives a modern and comedy twist to Latina women´s creativity in the kitchen” stated Blondet. “As a mother, I´ve always pushed my children to give dishes their own personal touch.”
