29 prizes make this a great year for Hispanics shops at Rioss Wave Festival. Volvo Hijacking Service of We Believers and Never Stop Riding of The Community won two Grand Prix, and nine agencies won nine gold, 11 silver, and seven bronze awards, in addition to the two Grand Prix awards for the U.S. market. Volvo Hijacking Service of We Believers has been a winner of many awards in the circuit festivals. The campaign idea was presenting an unconventional invitation to try Volvos offering customers that were interested in buying a car from another brand free rides with drivers who were salesmen convincing many potential buyers. The promotion increased sales by 27%. The piece won the Direct Grand Prix, as well as two golds in the same category and two silver awards in the Promo category. The Community’s Never Stop Riding campaign, created to let cyclists in Buenos Aires know that the city’s bike program would operate around the clock, swept the Press category, winning the Grand Prix and two gold awards, as well as two gold Outdoor prizes. Other shops that won these awards -organized by Meio & Mensagem- are: Alma, Conill, LAPIZ, Dieste, Zubi Advertising, LatinWorks and Walton Isaacson. The awards ceremony took place at the Copacabana Palace in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
