Tono Studios, one of the most prominent and respected companies of post-production in the audio industry for commercial production, lent their studio to agency Orci to work and complete two new shots for summer sales of Honda. The designer and sound mixer in charge of the project, Felipe Valencia, took the lead doing all the work of hall effect and sound design for the first commercial called Training, where the main character goes through a tiring and funny physical training, Rocky style, before getting sweat to his local Honda dealer. “The sound design and training room effect was actually a lot of fun, except for the constant hyperventilation of our actor. We also had to use some tricks to fit the whole production sound captured from different shots and record it as one uniform recording for our final product, while hiding phrases of our set recording” Valencia said. The second commercial, You can do this, involved the creation of background environments that supported the primal scene without giving away the plot twist in which it is revealed that the character has been in a car at the dealers all time.
