Well-known Spanish ad man Toni Segarra, creative VP and one of the founders of the SCPF (Segarra, Cuesta, Puig, Fernandez de Castro) agency, will be president of the Television, Film, Graphics and Outdoor Jury at this years Iberoamerican Advertising Festival, or FIAP.Its odd, but in these times of being connected to everyone all the time, its harder than ever to know whats going on in our profession. Being on the FIAP jury is a marvelous chance to get updated Segarra said. Something else that really interests me is getting deeply immersed in Latin American creativity he said. Wonderful things have been happening there for quite awhile. Those markets are brimming with energy and excitement, something that we have momentarily lost. Im thrilled to be seeing it up close and personal, side by side with those who are making it happen.Segarra also said that seeing good work and having the chance to discuss it with very talented colleagues is one of the great privileges of this profession, and I have the luck to be able to do it once again.Also worth noting is that this year the 2013 AHAA Conference will be presented jointly with FIAP and the Circulo Creativo from April 29 to May 1 at the Eden Roc Renaissance Hotel in Miami Beach.
