Calvin Klein, Inc. announced an exclusive alliance with the non-profit organization Every Mother Counts, or EMC, founded by model and worldwide defender of maternal health Christy Turlington Burns, who figures in the brands global ad campaign for the fall of 2013.The two organizations have joined forces to expand their existing relationship and create a multiplatform program designed to spread awareness of the EMC mission of assuring safe pregnancies and births for all moms. The multifaceted initiative will be seen worldwide in print, outdoor and online, and will feature fundraisers to protect the health and well-being of girls and women around the world through EMC-promoted programs in the United States, Haiti, Uganda and Indonesia, in an effort to avoid deaths caused by pregnancy and childbirth around the world.
