The Street Music Library es una plataforma para músicos de la calle
ALMA, the US Hispanic market agency, developed a proposal to collaborate between the advertising industry and musicians who work on the streets of Florida. As something different from conventional music banks, where music tends to be useful but not very original, they created The Street Music Library, full of music with personality. This way they offer a good source of music to agencies that many times use sound banks to accompany their pieces.Street musicians are some of the most genuine in the world, and through this platform, invented by ALMA, they managed to record their songs for the first time. In the library hundreds of percussionists, guitarists, vocalists and many other alternative performers participated. The idea will participate in the 2015 Cannes International Advertising Festival and was developed thanks to the effort of the creative team coordinate by the creative director Iu La Lueta; Beatriz Torres Marín, Associate Creative Director; Cristina Serarols, Senior Art Director; Diana de la Parra, Producer of the agency and Aldo de la Paz in the web design. The CCO at Alma, Luis Miguel Messianu and the Executive Creative Director, Álvar Suñol were also part of the process. The video that registered the experience was made by the producing company Mármol Miami and directed by Martín and Óscar Ubilluz.
