The Latino Recording Academy, Eventus and Univision announce brands 7UP and McDonald’s as presenters of the Latin Grammy street parties in 2014, besides Walmart, Cricket Wireless and Kellogg’s as official sponsors. TheLatin Grammy street parties offer a traveling interactive musical festival, which includes live concerts, exhibition areas of the sponsors and samples of different products. The series features performances from some of the most talented performers in Latino music, and also serves as a launching pad for new talent representing multiple genres.Celebrating its 12th consecutive year of success, the series will visit five cities around the country, which will precede the transmission of the 15th Annual Latin Grammy. “Each year, we look for presenting established and emerging artists, giving them a platform to interact with fans, and this year is no exception,” Gabriel Abaroa Jr., CEO of The Latino Recording Academy, said. “The key to the success of the Latin Grammy street parties has been connecting consumers with sponsors who care about their communities through a unique and entertaining musical activities platform” Nelson Albareda, president of Eventus, said.”We look forward to bringing the excitement of the Latin Grammy our communities and continue to build expectations for one of the biggest nights of Latino music,” Alberto Ciurana, president of Univision programming and content, said.
