Richard Dillon, one of the pioneers in the Hispanic market who gave structure and leadership to the industry when it was starting, died at the age of 83 last August 17th in Vero Beach, Florida.Dillon was the Founder at Mendoza, Dillon & Asociados, one of the first marketing agencies focused on the Hispanic market in the U.S. The agency grew rapidly and was then acquired by the WPP Group.Before creating his agency, Dillon was President of the Mexican Division of General Foods and Johnson & Johnson and a Princeton University graduate.
