Continuing with its Special Coverage: The Best of 2012, PRODU Hispanic Publicidad notes the importance of moving the Ibero-American Advertising Festival, or FIAP, to the city of Miami, birthplace of Latino cultural diversity, for the purpose of establishing itself in the regions key business center. The arrival of FIAP in Miami, after being held in Buenos Aires for many years, offered the Hispanic market during 2012 a week of wonderful creativity together with AHAA and the Circulo Creativo, and though each of the events took place separately, all were working toward a common goal with mutual support.Daniel Marcet, CEO of FIAP spoke with PRODU during the event and commented that this first time the festival has been staged in Miami was really enriching because doing it here opened up a lot of possibilities. This was our debut in Miami, and now we have a whole year to develop a ton of new attractions for the 2013 edition, where we will have a lot of agencies on hand and will come up with many innovations. Thats when the festival will really take off here in Miami.
