The olympic gymnast Danell Leyva is one of the new faces of the Milk Life campaign Lo que nos hace fuertes, to motivate children to drink milk. As part of the program, Leyva communicates the benefits of the nutrients and that an adequate nutrition is key to success, as in his case, being part of the U.S. team in the Olympic Games in London.”I feel very honored to be part of the campaign Somos fuertes to be able to educate Hispanics about the importance of milk in the daily diet” said Leyva. “I use the strength I get from my training, my nutrition and my family to encourage me to work more and do my best. And being part of this campaign allows me to encourage other Hispanics to do the same. Milk has always been an essential part of my daily life, from the coffee I drink with milk in the morning to the glass of warm milk I drink at night.”The campaign is aimed at Hispanics and forms an essential part of a national strategy carry out by the Milk Processor Education Program, whose goal is to increase consumption of fresh milk.
