La agencia apeló a la sensibilidad para The water project
Imagine going to the movies and that you receive a free bottle of water that you can’t open, and that after a while of feeling frustrated for not being able to open it, the image of a person collecting clean water enters the scene seeking people’s reflection. Well that was the mechanism that the advertising agency Walton Isaacson used for the campaign The water project, which seeks resources for villages in Africa. The attendees who went to enjoy a movie in Los Angeles, USA, were shocked with the sterile situation that some African people live to be able to have access to drinking water. Appealing to their awareness, the advertising agency raised a few contributions for its client, aiming to build damns in certain poor zones of the African continent. Walton Isaacson, based in New York and founded by Aaron Walton, Cory Isaacson and Magic Johnson in 2005, describes itself as “the most interesting agency on the planet”. This month they made two big hires: Kirsten Atkinson as media VP, and Vida Cornelious as creative director.
