The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2016 published the list of the 27 members that comprise the Lions Health jury, awards given to creative excellence among health communicators, which celebrates communications of consumption products, over the counter medicines, as well as ingenuity in health applications and devices. According to Terry Savage, President of the Festival, the jury will be “a diverse mix of talent from around the world”. This year they will be presented on June 18th in Cannes, after a previous meeting of the jury that will debate on all the entries made in the category. The celebrities in the jury in the Health and Wellness category include: Joshua Prince, Chief Marketing Officer, Omnicom Health Group, Global as jury President; Matt Gill, Group Creative Director at Health Thinking Group, Australia; and Andre Laurentino, Global Executive Creative Director, Ogilvy & Mather for Unilever, Global. Pharma Lions includes: Alexandra von Plato, President of Publicis Healthgroup North America, as President of the jury; Peter Smith, Regional Executive Creative Director of Ogilvy CommonHealth; and John Reid, Chief Creative Officer at Wunderman DC, among others.
