Telemundo unveiled its redesigned digital platforms, featuring a more modern look for 15 online properties, including desktop, mobile and apps. In a statement, the TV station said that this move is an effort to keep up-dated its Hispanic audience with severe weather push alerts and a Breaking News bar. “Our new and revamped digital tools provide best-in-class digital technology to our users while they are on-the-go and also help our stations deliver the latest breaking news and weather that is happening in their markets, much faster” said Ozzie Martínez, Senior VP, News, Digital and Standards at Telemundo. “The enhancements deliver our Hispanic viewers best-in-class digital features, including an enhanced weather experience and improved breaking news, to help viewers stay ahead of the news when they’re on-the-go.” Among the new redesigned features are: improved interactive radar and a new platform that lets meteorologists curate local forecasts. The apps will debut in early 2016.
