To impulse their retail sales, Tecate and Tecate Light are launching a campaign based on boxing. The beer brand announced the details behind this with the expected fight between Manny Pacquiao and Chris Algieri, promoted by Top Rank and that will be broadcast live Nov. 22 on HBO Pay-Per-View from the Venetian Macao Cotai Arena, in China. The three-month campaign is linked to the concept of Taste of triumph for the brand, which encourages men to conquer victories everyday. This includes a variety of promotions and VIP experiences.”Although Algieri vs. Pacquiao will take place in China, it still offers a great opportunity not only to build expectations among fans older than 21 in the USA, but also help our retail partners to increase traffic to stores this time,” Gustavo Guerra, director of brand Tecate and Tecate Light, said. The winner will be awarded a trip for two to Las Vegas during the fight that weekend, including transportation, accommodation and VIP access to the official party sponsored by Tecate Pacquiao vs Algieri; while the ten second prizes will receive a transmission code for the HBO PPV event and a gift card of $100, which will allow fans older than 21 years to watch the fight at home.
