58% de los millennials prefiere el streaming
58% of millennials prefer streaming as a visualization option, according to a survey carried out for the first time using the MFourDIY platform, where 1.000 people who belong to this group were surveyed. Until now, no study this broad had used this method through an application for smartphones, the most appropriate for connecting with millennials. The study also showed that 28% watch more cable and/or satellite. Just 18.5% between 18 and 29-year-olds have this as their first visualization option, compared to 37% of people aged between 30 and 36. Regarding music downloads, according to the study, the trend is to use mobile devices. 56% of those surveyed answered that in the last month, they had downloaded music directly from those devices, whereas 43% had done so from their computers and laptops. However, even though most millennials watch entertainment via TV. 91% answered that they accessed this content on the TV screen, followed by smartphones with 73%. Computers and laptops came in third place with 63%, and in fourth, tablets with 47%. Of course, younger millennials (18 to 24 years old) are more connected through their mobile phones than elder ones (74% vs. 69%). Another interesting piece of data the study revealed is that 78% of millennials prefers TV series episodes to be broadcast at the same time, without having to wait for weekly runs.
