The Association of National Advertisers (ANA) Alliance for Family Entertainment (AFE) organized this past February 25 a webinar to explore and take advantage of the marketing potential that Pinterest offers to brands. 35% of Pinterests users are millennials and 75% of all content pinners save comes from brands and stores. This network offers many opportunities to showcase products and services and Pinterest Head of Partnerships, Bill Watkins, talked about them during the webinar hosted by Stephen Quinn, Former EVP, CMO of Walmart “Pinterest is a powerful resource for discovery and inspiration for Millennials, including parents” Quinn said. “Its a major tool in how they organize and manage their daily lives, including what brands are best for them. For our members, the platform is a direct connection to what are arguably our most-important consumers.” “Since Pinterest launched in 2010, weve helped pinners plan important projects, develop their style and find new ideas to try in their everyday lives” Watkins said. “Pinners might find something they love while scrolling through their home feed or using Pinterest search. Brands content plays a central role on Pinterest and no other platform has a more receptive audience.” The presentation is part of an ongoing series of knowledge AFE seminars about key digital social platforms for the industry. Former seminars have included Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr and Yahoo! partners.
