This has been Swift agency’s intention when designing extraordinary memes for Starbucks’ iced coffee beverage, thought for a younger target.The chain has created 21 GIFs, available through the mobile application Popkey. The founder of the Popkey app, Adrian Salamunovic, explained that the animated images do not look like a traditional ad. “The key word is subtle. What is lacking in the world of GIFs is to create hashtags for them”, he said. Starbucks also executes images in social media and built a package of digital stickers.
