Stacie de Armas From Nielsen: 50% of Latinas Use Social Networks To Connect With Family And Friends

The Voice of Hispanic Marketing (AHAA) organized a webinar with Stacie de Armas, VP of Strategic Initiatives and Consumer Engagement at Nielsen. The executive talked about the most notorious results of their report titled: Latina 2.0: Fiscally Conscious, Culturally Influential & Familia Forward Hispanic, that is part of a series of studies conducted this year called Diverse Intelligence Series Hispanic Consumer Report.One of the findings of the study points out that 50% of Latinas use social networks to connect with family and friends, and that 74% of Latinas are enrolling in college immediately after finishing high school.Another significant finding of the study mentioned by de Armas and tweeted by AHAA (@AHAA) is that the Latina population grew 37% between 2005 and 2015 “that’s impressive” she emphasized.
