FIAP, the event that enables Ibero-American creativity to take part in the Intercontinental Advertising Cup, has designated as jurors Sophie Schoenburg, general creative director at AlmapBBDO Brazil, and Juan Sanchez, chief creative officer of TBWA Madrid.For the past 19 years, Schoenburg has worked at AlmapBBDO Brazil for such clients as Volkswagen, Pepsi, Visa, HP, Bayer, Getty Images, Havaianas and many local brands. She is one of the most award-winning copywriters in Brazil, while internationally she has been distinguished with 17 Cannes Lions awards, 10 Clios, two FIAP Grand Prix, a Yellow Pencil from D&AD, among others. She was also part of the qualifying panel at the 2009 Cannes Lions.For his part, Sanchez graduated in Advertising from the Universidad Complutense in Madrid and started working as a copywriter at TBWA Madrid in 1997. The list of clients he has worked for include Sony PlayStation, Canon, Telefonica, Philips, McDonalds and Adidas, and has taken home prizes from all the big international festivals of creativity:Cannes Lions, One Show, D&AD, El Sol, FIAP, Eurobest, Epica, Clio and more. He has also taken part as a juror in festivals like the Club de Creativos, El Sol, New York Festival and Ojo de Iberoamerica. Since his return to TBWA in 2006, the shop has gained fame as one of the three top agencies in Spain.The Cup will take place between April 13-17 in Belgrade, Republic of Serbia.
