El actor será jurado en los Young Lions Award
Lions Health, the global festival that celebrates creativity in healthcare will have the British actor Sir Roger Moore, as part of the jury in the Young Lions Health Award, which will be held on June 19th and 20th.The Good Will Ambassador for Unicef will be part of a group of personalities who will judge creative designers who develop advertising pieces dedicated to actions on the challenges the health systems in low income countries face. “I am very happy to be part of this jury. It is a unique opportunity to help change the lives of the most vulnerable children”, said Moore. The Young Lions Award is a call to the creative industry to develop an attractive campaign to help address this challenge. UNICEF will use the winning campaign as a foundation to attract the general audience and move it to defend better health systems mainly for children.Philip Thomas, Lions Festivals CEO said that “as organizers of an annual prize for creative excellence in the pharmaceutical industry and in health and wellbeing, it was a natural step to introduce a prize to help impulse and show young talent in the industry”.For UNICEF one of the main challenges for children to survive is raising awareness on the fact that health is not only related with provisions or specific initiatives, but also with creating a more sustainable system, with basic and vital health services within the reach of each child.
