Music producer Sergio George, founder of Top Stop Music and winner of 11 Grammys, took part on April 3 in Hispanicize 2014 at a special Q&A session.Sergio George has a well-founded international reputation as a leader in Latin music production. In the course of his noteworthy career, George, whose name appears on more than 200 million discs, has worked with such talents as Marc Anthony, La India, Christina Aguilera, Tito Nieves, Víctor Manuelle, Tito Puente, Japans Orquesta de La Luz, Jennifer Lopez and more. At present he is engaged as founder and executive director of Top Stop Music, the independent record label that launched the career of Prince Royce and keeps coming up with artists like Leslie Grace and projects like the Salsa Giants, the popular compilation of salsas biggest stars.The panel led by Robert Somoza discussed the career of the legendary producer, his achievements and as the catalyst for the rebirth of tropical music.Sergio George is one of the most prolific arrangers/producers and songwriters in Latin music to date. He has been responsible for some of the biggest hits that we hear on the radio and has turned many megastars hits into classics, says Hispanicize music director Vanessa James.
