While covering the 2013 Cannes Lions, PRODU was able to converse with Sebastian Leda, executive producer of paranafilms+, about what’s new at his production company.“We want to concentrate on making commercials, it’s good to diversify, it’s always important to have other things to offer as a production company, but our focus is to do what we do the best we can”.But since paranafilms+ understands the trend to digital platforms, the company has not neglected this new component of its productions, Leda said. “The campaigns we’re producing lately have a digital component, and it seems to me we’re going to see more of that as a production company…and we love it”.“We’ve always been interested in this because I believe it’s an area where there’s going to be a lot of innovation, lots of new and interesting things to do in the digital area. We shouldn’t lose focus on traditional television which is our strong point, of course, though we have to always be looking to the way things will go in the future” Leda said.Leda had some news to announce as well: the production company is now representing director Armando Bo of Argentina’s Rebolucion. “We’re representing Armando Bo for the Hispanic market, since we started representing the guys from Rebolucion last year. That was really the moment we were waiting for, to be able to have them all in this market, and I believe we’ll be able to do some great things together. We have an incredible bunch of directors for every level of production” he said.
