TV advertising incentivates website traffic and Internet commerce. That is what the Video Advertising Bureau’s most recent research revealed. It says there is a direct correlation between a brand´s TV adds and its website traffic.According to the report, 82% of the surveyed companies reported a peak in their websites moments after their TV ad was broadcast. Among the 125 brands surveyed -some are Applebees, PNC, Target and Victorias Secret,- 85% reported an increase in their website visits. Sean Cunningham, President and CEO of the Video Advertising Bureau, stated that TV is one one of the main activators of Internet commerce. “A majority of brands have seen how the increase in their TV ad investment incides positively on their sales”.The firm -whose members include TV networks like CBS Corporation, Fox Networks and NBC Universal- gathered information from brands since February 2014, until March 2015.
