See It Be It from the Cannes Lions Festival, an initiative that seeks to highlight and reveal the creative talent women in the advertising industry, has announced that Sarah Watson, Chief Strategy Officer of BBH New York, will be the first ambassador 2016. “See It Be It is an initiative that seeks to give people new ideas about themselves and what they want to become. It is transforming for those involved and for the industry in general. Just to think about it is exciting” said Watson. The organization announced that the postulation of candidates for the program is open. The event, created in 2014, is based on the figures by director positions lead by creative women and the distance that exists between men and women. This event will allow the winning women to attend the festival, meet the presenters, attend the conferences, as well as the possibility of taking an exclusive preparation course. “We want to develop the careers of the most creative women through See It Be It there, in the most direct way and ensuring at the same time that the gap remains in the center of attention” said Philip Thomas, CEO of the Cannes Lions Festival.
