Havas Media Group’s Digital and Strategy Group Director Santiago Duran joined the jury to judge the finalists at the 2014 Festival of Media Global between April 6-8 in Rome.“It’s an enriching experience that allowed me to evaluate strategies from different latitudes, developed in a very competitive atmosphere and that highlights the power and impact that big ideas have on the destiny of brands,” Duran said.Big winners included XTL, UM Australia for Campaign of the Year, UM Australia as Agency of the Year, and Starcom Mediavest Group as Agency Network of the Year.Winners were announced April 8 after the evaluation sessions were held over the weekend. This year’s festival was made up of 24 sessions with the participation of 76 exhibitors from the media, agencies and advertisers.Havas Media México had its campaign One Million Mangrove Trees for the Bonafont brand distinguished as a finalist in the Utility/Public Service category for highlighting its efforts in benefiting customers.
