Salvador de la Fuente of Whiskey: The experience of filming with Lubezki was very rewarding and positive

Salvador de la Fuente, Content and Development Director at Whiskey Mexico shared with PRODU his experience shooting one of their most recent projects: a Cerveza Indio campaign featuring the Oscar awarded Emmanuel Lubezki, who also made the cinmetography of the spot, under the direction of Arturo Pereyra and Montalvo KD agency.”Professionally it was an extraordinary experience due to all what encompasses Emmanuel and what he has accomplished with his work” said de la Fuente. “Emmanuel is a simple man, easy to work with and at the same time very demanding with what he likes and in how he imagines the things he wants to film. He likes to work using natural daylight, in this case was light at dusk. It’s impressive to watch him work, it seems that there is nothing special about it, but when you see the result on screen is extraordinary.”He said that there was a great chemistry between Pereyra and Lubezki. “It was a genuine cooperation, without egos, with a common and clear goal. The experience was very respectful, very productive and positive for all.””I believe that working together with people so talented as Emmanuel, shows what the brand is after, where it wants to go and who it’s targeting as consumers” he commented.Montalvo KD is a recently created agency, this was its first project and de la Fuente hopes working with them in the future. “This was a great experience and we are certain it will have great success” he concluded.
