The president of ROX United and award-winning public relations veteran, Roxana Lissa, will be Co-Chair of Hispanicize L.A. that will take place on October 4th. Lissa said she was excited to contribute to the success of the event in Los Angeles. “We are all experiencing the rapid changes in our industry and it’s crucial we all share the knowledge and insights with each other to continue evolving” she added.“We’re delighted to have Roxana join the board of Hispanicize L.A, because she is one of the multicultural marketing industry’s most seasoned pros” said Manny Ruiz, Founder at Hispanicize Media Group (HMG). “Through her work in her former RLPR agency and now as ROX United under the United Collective, Roxana has distinguished herself as an expert who’s in touch with the trends and industries that most impact Latinos.” In addition to this designation, HMG unveiled the members of the blue ribbon panel that will judge the Hispanicize Silicon Valley Rankings, which include: Chrystine Villarreal, President at MIXhalo; Andre Arbelaez, President at Hispanic IT Executive Council (HITEC); Claudia González Romo, Special Adviser, UNICEF; Lili Gil Valletta, CEO & Co-Founder, CIEN+ and CulturIntel; Jesse Martínez, Executive Director at Latino Startup Alliance; Inez González, Founding Director at Latino Communications Initiative, Cal State Fullerton, College of Communications; Kety Esquivel, SVP, Multicultural at Edelman; Mónica Taher, Owner, Business Taps; and Mekhalo Medina, Immediate Past President of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists and Digital/Broadcast anchor at NBC Los Angeles, among others.
