Romina Bongiovanni was appoined Director of Earned Media at Saatchi & Saatchi Los Angeles and will be responsible for amplifying and gaining value for clients´ brands by expanding the reach of existing content in non-paid consumer media channels. Romina will also report to John Lisko, Executive Director of Communications in the company.”Technology has rapidly changed the industry landscape in the past decade Saatchi Los Angeles continues to grow and invest to stay at the forefront of new, innovative thinking and solutions” said Bongiovanni. “The agency truly understands the importance of close collaboration to create transformational work for clients and I’m thrilled to be a part of this team” she added.Before joining Saatchi & Saatchi in 2015, Bongiovanni worked in the multicultural agency Sensis where she was responsible for building the earned media practice for the firm. She also directed her own company, Journey PR & Marketing, where she led campaigns for clients such as Pepsi, DIRECTV, Actavis, Noom Coach, and En Genius Technologies.Previously, Bongiovanni was key in developing and leading Edelman´s Multicultural Division, where she Senior Vice President of the global firm, where for nearly seven years she served clients such as: Microsoft, Xbox, Starbucks, Levi’s, Bush’s Beans, Nestle, American Heart Association “Go Red for Women” and The Latin Recording Academy. She has also held important leadership roles in Hispanic agencies in the US, like RL Public Relations and La Agencia de Orcí and has received some of the industry’s highest accolades for her work.
