The Ibero-American Creativity & Strategy Festival (FICE) has named Richards/Lerma its 2019 Independent Agency of the Year in the USA Hispanic and Multicultural category. The recognition celebrates Richards / Lerma’s work creating disruptive and impactful content for a diverse, multicultural America. The FICE is now in its 6th year as a recognized international award show and is the only advertising festival specifically created to celebrate innovation in the world of the independent agencies. Also, unique to its evaluation process is the fact that awarded agencies are selected based on a combination of an agency’s annual business results, strategic development and creative recognition.The expansion of the festival from Europe to The Americas has been significant, fast becoming one of the preeminent festivals at the national editions as well as in its global recognition. As many important festivals around the world grow by significantly increasing the number of awards given, the FICE leadership has intentionally reduced the number of awards issued yearly. This allows a more rigorous evaluation that, not only awards an agency for a specific campaign, but actually awards an independent agency’s body of work, both from the strategic caliber of thought, as well as from the quality of execution of the creative expression. “We are very excited and honored with this recognition from FICE.
