Ricardo González, CEO and Co-Founder of WomyAds announced to PRODU the beginning of the firm’s Sidney operations, where their main goal is entering the Asian Pacific market. “We focus in Miami because that is where many regional advertising investments take place. We center our operation in Colombia, because this allows us to cover all America and now we are initiating a new phase in Sidney where we want to explore the Asian Pacific market, and we believe is very interesting” he said. He also said that even though influencers marketing is not new because brands have always searched for a third party to engage with difficult audiences, doing it in an automated way, with the appropriate people and using the more effective channels “is what we are accomplishing.” He highlighted WomyAds evolution. “Budgets have been growing steadily as advertisers test that this is a tool they should include in their plans. We have witnessed that digital media is the channel to reach people” he said. Finally, he said: “What is important is to be clear about brands goals when using influencers. If you used them because is a boom but do not know where you are going, it maybe not necessarily be the best media.”
