Florio: Veo en la agencia a la gente muy entusiasmada y en especial a los creativos

Renata Florio, CCO of Wing in New York, sat down and talked with PRODU about how 2012 has treated the agency where she started working just a year ago.“Right now I’m very excited, because I’ve been there a year and it’s all gone so fast. But in the agency I see everyone very enthusiastic and especially the creatives – we’re working very hard, we’re all very pleased that our work made the short list at Cannes 2012 and that was a historic high point for the agency. We took it as a prize,” Florio said.New York-based Wing was short-listed in the Outdoor category at the last Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, with the commercial Shower with a Chance of Weather Alert Subscriptions for its client The Weather Channel.Another of the agency’s outstanding productions in 2012 was the campaign for the NY International Latino Film Festival satirizing some all-too-typical Hollywood clichés. “What I contributed was to take the big idea the agency already had and make it bigger and funnier,” the creative said.Wing, besides being honored for its campaigns, succeeded in winning three new accounts – Radio Shack, Red Lobster and DIRECTV LatAm. Florio noted that as creatives, in order to win they had to give 100 percent of themselves in their projects, even if they feared the campaign might never air, might never reach families, whatever – but they had to come up with a winner!
