Ramírez: En Newlink hacemos desde hace varios años trabajos de realidad virtual
Rafael Ramírez joins the Newlink team as the new Chief Creative Officer and in that position he will lead and supervise all the creative services in the region and direct the multicultural marketing area of the company, collaborating with clients such as Coca-Cola and ESPN. With vast experience in the advertising world, he explains to PRODU that, as a creative, and particularly when handling creative groups “one must learn to develop a sense of business and strategy.” “In Newlink, we define ourselves as a communications consultancy company and its entire thought model -which is the main reason why I joined it- stems from a challenge brands are facing: hyperconnectivity, that has changed the communications model. In order to solve this, a new communications model, which we call, here in the company, orbital communications.”Ramírez will supervise the following areas: creative & branding, integrated production, branded content and social marketing, to comprise a creative excellence center that will support all other Newlink expertise areas. “We have seven offices of our propriety in Latin America: Dominican Republic, Argentina, Mexico, Peru, Colombia and in the U.S., one in Miami. We have gradually formed the excellence centers according to our clients’ needs. In Argentina we have a creative excellence center. In Mexico and Miami, we have an excellence center for social and digital. It is a more global vision in order to have talents with diverse backgrounds.”At Newlink, for several years they have been experimenting with virtual and augmented reality, for brands such as ESPN, and the Government of Dominican Republic, to promote their entire touristic offer.
