Orgullosa is the Procter & Gamble program to empower and celebrate Latin women. Its most recent initiative, Living Fabulosa, is the extension of its campaign Nueva Latina, that highlights the unique and complex experience of the modern and bicultural Latin woman. March 25th in The Times Center, they honored the beauty and diversity of New Latins through a forum which acknowledged Hispanic pioneer women and their stories of trust, strength, and success. The hostess of the event were the Golden Globe winner actress Gina Rodríguez, the announcer Angie Martinez, the style expert Lilliana Vázquez, and the correspondent for Entertainment Weekly, Nina Terrero.The event included more than 200 pioneers, influential people and members of the Orgullosa community, who gathered to share true stories and cultural topics. “As New Latins, we are proud of our origins and are defining a new mixed cultural life that is unique and inspiring”, pointed out the actress Gina Rodríguez.The program Living Fabulosa acknowledges New Latins who are leaders in the path towards generation of change. From the launching of small businesses to their performance as award-winning Hollywood artists, Latins are influencing culture and society.”We want to continue with a national dialogue between bicultural women, encouraging them to share their experiences and opinions, positively strengthening the way this unique journey allows them to live each stage of their lives in a fabulous way”, said Luis Restrepo, brand manager of Orgullosa.
