The multinational BPN media agency will hold its 2014 Global Convention in Peru under the name The Era of the Extinction.The event will assemble approximately 50 executives from more than 15 countries.The basic theme will be the constant transformation of the media industry globally and the trends that are driving this evolution, which for media and ad agencies means now is the time to get with it or die. The convention will also cover important areas of the business such as shopper marketing, social media and innovation.The Global Convention will count on the presence of BPNs Global CEO Mauricio Sabogal, who directs the worldwide operations for the new agency network of the IPG Mediabrands group.Sabogal, the first Latin American to achieve the post of global CEO of a media agency, noted that, despite it being a new agency, convention host MediaConnection BPN Peru has won important awards over its not quite two years in the business.Im thrilled to bring the BPN Global Convention to Peru.
