The American news and entertainment magazine People is updating its subscription process with a new multiplatform system. Consumers now have many ways to enjoy People that include digital products and exclusive content. With a range of costs and benefits, the new model is designed to track the new and changing consumer patterns.With the goal of establishing closer relations with existing readers, the levels of subscribing to People now include the print version delivered weekly; People Digital Plus that can be accessed completely on tablets and computers, as can People Apps and People Premium; People All Access, a combination of the print version and People Digital Plus; while People V.I.P. is the sum total of all the previous offers, plus three gift boxes per year related to publication events, a free six-month subscription and the chance to win trips to movie premieres and red carpet events.People magazine publisher Karen Kovacs says that expanding Peoples traditional subscription model with new and innovative offerings helps forge a deeper and more personalized relationship with millions of consumers who trust and love the People brand.For his part, Larry Hackett, managing editor of People, adds that its a very exciting time for the brand.
