Pedro Lerma, CEO of the LERMA/ ad agency, was named Maestro of Entrepreneurship at The Maestros Awards in Dallas, Texas. Siberia Ordoñez, VP of external affairs at Comerica Bank, was in charge of awarding the prize. During the ceremony she noted that Lerma is a visionary. “He has always seen the world as a place where all cultures should be accepted. He uses a transcultural form of communication,” she said. In that sense, she added that he is an architect at connecting ideas. For that reason she recalled that his agency was founded in 2009 with the commitment to be an omnicultural company that understands the importance of cultural fluidity. That above all comes from having been brought up by immigrant parents.Among LERMA/ clients are Dr. Pepper, Home Depot and Avocados from Mexico.“Brands have flocked to the Lerma team thanks to their trust in his leadership and confidence in his creatives’ ability to produce positive business results,” Ordoñez said.
