The international Ojo de Iberoamerica festival of advertising creativity recently announced that Pablo Buffagni, CCO of the Grupo Gallegos agency, will be jury president in the Content and Sports categories.Buffagni will be tasked with guiding jurors through the voting process and in selecting entries representing Ibero-Americas best creative work in their respective categories. After receiving word of the announcement, PRODU contacted Buffagni, who said it will be an honor to lead the jurors in the categories of Content and Sports in the difficult task of choosing the best works presented for these two very interesting fields. I look forward to collaborating with jurors from different countries and with the presidents of the other juries. Its sure to be demanding, but also a lot of fun and very inspiring. After picking the best entries, the jury presidents will get together in Buenos Aires and apply the festivals unique judging standard to determine which works are worthy of the gold Gran Ojo, or Grand Prix, in each category.Ojo de Iberoamerica, to be held Nov. 5-7, will continue announcing who will be the other advertising eminences chosen as presidents of the festivals different juries. Already announced, along with Buffagni, are Antonio Montero for Graphics, Rui Branquinho for The Third Eye jury (which picks the Best of the Best) and Integrated Campaigns, Marco Versolato for Direct Marketing, John Raul Forero for Outdoor, Fernando Nobre for Promotions, and Sergio Gordilho for Design and Graphic Production.
