The New York Festivals Worlds Best Advertising competition has named five prominent international creative directors to its 2014 Executive Jury.The dream team of 30 leaders from the industrys elite will meet in New York between April 25-29 to decide on the winners of the Worlds Best Advertising across all media, while a new category will award a prize for the Worlds Best Idea.Members of the Executive Jury include Brendan DiBona, executive creative director of AKQA, USA; Armin Jochum, chief creative officer and cofounder of thjnk, Germany; Bridget Jung, chief creative officer of DigitasLBi, France; Gaston Legorburu, worldwide chief creative officer of SapientNitro, USA; and Jimmy Smith, CEO and chief creative officer of Amusement Park Entertainment, USA.New York Festivals is incredibly honored and proud to assemble an Executive Jury of this stature, each and every member of the 2014 Executive Jury is respected globally for their expertise in the industry as well as their creative accomplishments, said Michel ORourke, president of New York Festivals. The team will be moderated by Rance Crain, president of Crain Communications and editor of Ad Age.For its part, the 2014 New York Show will take place on May 1 at the New York Public Library and will feature creative debates, conferences, networking events, the awards ceremony, and later, a gala honoring the prizewinners.
