Aldo Quevedo, Main Creative Director of the agency, commented that they are super happy because several clients with whom they work won awards. “Avocados of Mexico won gold in a complicated category, Formats, and in the Real Time subcategory, with #AvoSecrets for the Super Bowl, and thanks to this we had the honor of being named Independent Agency of the Year in the entire region” he stated. According to the creative, these awards validate their work. “I think that for any agency awards should be a result of their work, without having the aim to win awards. Clients are happy and super proud to see that their pieces are winning, so we are very happy.”Quevedo highlighted that the festival managed to shift entirely what they did with new categories. “They are at the forefront globally in terms of awards measurement and I am very happy to have been invited to be part of this new edition. It is amazing that the festival summoned so many legendary people, names you couldn’t imagine seeing together, and FIAP achieved this. For me, it continues to be the most important festival in the region.”He invited young people to travel, observe, read, speak, live and share. “The less you get stuck in advertising, the more you can collaborate. Try to fill yourself with things so you can return them in advertising. Don’t remain stuck in what each agency is doing. It is fine to take a moment to review where we are, but let’s not allow that to become an obsession.”
