Nestle is 5th most beloved brand in the world, Apco Insight study shows

Estudio global realizado por Apco Insight ubicó a Nestlé como la quinta marca más querida en el mundo

According to a survey taken by the Apco Insight opinion research company, in which some 70,000 consumers were interviewed in 15 leading international markets, Nestle is “the world’s 5th most beloved brand”.The study identified eight different emotions, including pride, understanding and curiosity that are essential for effective brand communications. Nestle scored highest for relevance and understanding.“Good Food, Good Life is the promise we commit to everyday, everywhere – enhancing people’s lives throughout life with good food and beverages” said Patrice Bula, executive VP at Nestle. “The great efforts our people make to deliver this pledge create great results, as this research shows, by winning with consumers”. Every day Nestle produces close to 1 billion products that are sold in almost every country in the world. As a leading firm for nutrition, health and well-being, Nestle has offered customers the tastiest and healthiest of products for almost 150 years. In 2012 its worldwide sales topped $92 billion, 43 percent of which were in emerging markets.The survey also found that Walt Disney is the most loved company in the World, followed by Yahoo, Google and Sony. Meanwhile Kellogg’s came in 12th, with Coca-Cola and PepsiCo in the 14th and 17th spots, respectively.Nestle has invested heavily in digital and social media to complement its marketing efforts. There are now more than 850 pages of Nestle brands on Facebook, with over 180 million fans.
