National Geographic launches global campaign to promote its new show The 2000s

National Geographic designed a television campaign for the global launching of their new television series The 2000s: The Decade We Saw It All. The promo videos were made by The Corner.The animated spots highlight memorable moments of the decade of 2000, such as Barack Obama´s presidential campaign, the popularity of Harry Potter books and the expansion of Google. The program is the sequel of The 80s: The Decade That Made Us and The 90s: The Decade That Connected Us. The campaign will be launched on the National Geographic channel August 1st. It will be available in 170 markets and 45 languages.“Undoubtedly, the 2000s was one of the most incredible decades of modern times and it was difficult to choose just three events that resonated with our TV viewers”, said Emanuele Madeddu, Senior Creativity and Marketing VP for the National Geographic Channels International “With the help of The Corner, we managed to choose culturally relevant events, carry them out in an intelligent way to bring them to life and create suspense around the new series that will be broadcast”.
